The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced its much-awaited recruitment drive for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. This year, SBI is inviting applications for 14,191 vacancies across its regional banks nationwide. Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of ₹26,730 (including two increments for graduates). With allowances like DA and HRA, the monthly salary at metro locations could go up to ₹46,000.

SBI Clerk Selection Process

The recruitment process involves:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Phase I):
    • Duration: 1 hour
    • Sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability
    • Total Marks: 100
  2. Main Examination (Phase II):
    • Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes
    • Sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude
    • Total Marks: 200
  3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
    Candidates must qualify in the local language of the state/UT they are applying for.

Note: Marks from the preliminary exam will not count towards the final merit list.
