JKSSB Sub Inspector Eligibility Criteria

1. Domicile Requirement

Candidates must hold domicile status in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. A valid domicile certificate should be obtained on or before the application deadline.

3. Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet the qualifications specified in Annexure-A of the notification. Relevant certificates must be presented during document verification.

For Male Candidates

• Height: 5’6″ (minimum)

Relaxations: Height criteria are relaxed by 2 inches for candidates from the Gorkha Community and Bot Tribe.

Examination Details

1. Written Test

• Objective-type questions in English.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
• Bonus marks for candidates with NCC certificates:
  • NCC “C” Certificate: 5% of total marks
  • NCC “B” Certificate: 3% of total marks
  • NCC “A” Certificate: 2% of total marks
