The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released the result and score-sheet for the written examination held for the post of Constable (SDRF/IRP/Armed/Executive) in the Home Department. Provisional and Final Answer Key Updates

  • A provisional answer key was issued on the day of the examination (01.12.2024) via Notice No. JKSSB COEOEXAM(UT)/36/2024-03 (7593651).
  • After addressing objections raised during the stipulated period, the revised/final answer key was released on January 14, 2025, under the same notice number.

NCC Certificate Bonus Marks

In accordance with S.O. 290 of 2021 issued by the Home Department, candidates possessing NCC certificates were eligible for additional marks. These marks were awarded as follows:

  • 5% of maximum marks for candidates holding an NCC “C” certificate.
  • 3% of maximum marks for NCC “B” certificate holders.
  • 2% of maximum marks for NCC “A” certificate holders.

Score-Sheet and Merit List Publication

The results and score-sheet for all candidates who participated in the written examination have been notified as Annexure A. This score-sheet reflects the performance of the candidates but does not guarantee shortlisting for subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

  1. Merit-Based Shortlisting:
    Inclusion in the result or score-sheet does not confirm eligibility for further selection. Candidates must meet all prescribed eligibility criteria, and decisions by the JKSSB will be considered final in this regard.
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET):
    • Candidates falling within the merit-based consideration zone will be called for PST and PET.
    • The schedule for these tests will be announced separately.
  3. Verification of NCC Certificates:
    Additional marks awarded for NCC certificates are provisional and subject to verification.
